Bio

My name is Kirstin Helstrom and I am a 3rd generation Portlander who graduated with honors from Eastern Oregon University with a BS in accounting, and Masters in Business. I have over 10 years accounting and bookkeeping experience. I have over 15 years of tax experience including preparation, audit related issues, IRS and state specific negotiations, amendments and multi year returns.

My mobile services include tax accounting, bookkeeping (data entry), accounting (full reconciliation, reports, analysis and reviews), consultations and audit assistance (on returns I have originally prepared). My clients range from small to mid sized businesses to individuals and families who need financial peace of mind.

I am married and between the two of us we have four kids and one dog.  I have a hardcore obsession with football. On the weekend, you’ll find me watching a game or working (but not on Sundays, that's reserved for football). In my spare time I volunteer on the Oregon Tax Board reviewing current and proposed rules and regulations to suggest ways to simplify tax laws.
